The Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students and the Housing Department hire approximately 25 dormitory assistants, or Community Living Advisers, typically assigning one or two in each of the upperclass dormitories. These positions requires a commitment averaging 10 to 15 hours per week.
Who & What: The Dormitory Assistant Position
Before continuing with the application, please read through the Position Description to acquaint yourself with the general responsibilities of DAs. This application is open to any member of the class of 2024 or 2025 who will be living on campus during the fall and spring terms.
When: The Application Deadline
All applications will be available beginning Monday, January 23. All applications must be submitted on or before Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
Interviews
Submission of an application does not guarantee an interview. All applications will be reviewed by the Associate Director for Housing Engagement and the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Students. Depending on the number of applications received, a preliminary screening may occur prior to the interview process. Applicants will be contacted if selected for an interview.
